Hello! I’m WeeWillyChubbs
Welcome to my corner of the internet. I’m a bassist, passionate about the Beatles and music theory. With a background in music, I’ve dedicated 23 years to creating music that I would honestly listen to whether I contributed to it or not.
My Journey
My journey began at age six when I was introduced to the Beatles through a documentary about them on tv. Since then, I’ve found myself with friends, in school programs, and other groups of musicians actualizing playing music that I had only imagined doing; pretending to be a Beatle as a kid. Whether I’m writing a bass line, composing a tune, collaborating with other musicians, my goal is always to be creative in creating music I would honestly listen to if I had nothing to do with it.
What Drives Me
I’m driven by God and the heart, soul, and mind He created me with; to be creative with music . I believe that everyone can express themselves creatively through music, and I strive to help people with this desire; actualize it with a process I had to refine to make music outside of my imagination that I could share. This passion fuels my work and keeps me excited about creativity in music.
Beyond the Professional
When I’m not consumed by music, you can find me consumed by God. I’m also an active member of a church family where I help with the youth ministry. These experiences enrich my life and provide a fresh perspective that I bring into my work.
